We provide the nitrogen fertilization rate per our five canonical crop types, i.e. for both annual and perennial C3 and C4 crops, as well as for nitrogen fixing crops. The fertilization rates are based on the harmonized land use dataset by Hurtt, G. et al. (2020, see also https://luh.umd.edu).
