They describe the annual maximum TC wind speed in each grid cell, under pre-industrial, historical, and future climatic conditions according to different scenarios of greenhouse gas concentrations.<br>Synthetic TC track projections from the WindRiskTech TC model were bias-adjusted using observed TC data from IBTrACS, and sampled to obtain a probabilistic distribution of potential realizations of storms in each scenario. The data can be used for assessing the risks associated with TC wind hazard, such as risks to life, livelihoods, health, or economic assets.
