    <description descriptionType="Abstract">The Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISIMIP) provides a framework for the collation of a consistent set of climate impact data across sectors and scales. It also provides a unique opportunity for considering interactions between climate change impacts across sectors through consistent scenarios.&lt;br&gt;The ISIMIP3b part of the third simulation round is dedicated to a quantification of climate-related risks at different levels of global warming and socio-economic change. ISIMIP3b group I simulations are based on historical climate change as simulated in CMIP6 combined with observed historical socio-economic forcing. ISIMIP3b group II simulations are based on climate change according to the CMIP6 future projections combined with socio-economic forcings fixed at 2015 levels. ISIMIP3b group III simulations additionally account for future changes in socio-economic forcing.&lt;br&gt;This dataset contains ocean climate input data for ISIMIP3b Marine Ecosystems and Fishery sector on a 1x1° grid. Data originates from CMIP6 archives and was remapped to a common regular global grid. It includes data from these global climate models which delivered data from a bio-geochemical submodule: GFDL-ESM4, UKESM1-0-LL, MPI-ESM1-2-HR and IPSL-CM6A-LR. For GFDL-ESM4 we fall back on the already remapped 1x1° data provided in ESGF while for the other 3 models we did the remapping on our own. In addition, MPI-ESM1-2-HR is also available on a half-degree grid. As requested by the modeling community, vertically integrated as well as ocean bottom and surface values for some variables were derived from the remapped data. The time series cover the period 1601-2100 for the piControl experiments, 1850-2014 for historical and 2015-2100 for the future experiments ssp126, ssp370 and ssp585, respectively.</description>
    <description descriptionType="Methods">Remapping was done with CDOs bilinear remapping functionality. The vector-based zonal and meridional water velocities were rotated before from irregular grids with shifted earth poles to direct relative to true earth poles.</description>
