      "description": "This dataset contains the nitrogen deposition input data for ISIMIP3a (Frieler et al. 2023, in prep., https://www.isimip.org).<br>It is derived from gridded NHx and NOy deposition data simulated by NCAR Chemistry-Climate Model Initiative (CCMI) during 1860-2014 at monthly time step (Tian et al. 2018). Nitrogen deposition data were interpolated to 0.5\u00b0 by 0.5\u00b0 by the nearest grid. Data from 2015 to 2021 are taken from 2014 as it is assumed to be same.<br>Wet and dry components are taken from the CMIP6 input4MIPs datasets and were obtained from the Earth System Grid Federation (Hegglin 2016).<br>With version 1.1 of this DOI, we add the 1901soc scenario with fixed year-1901 direct human influences.<br>Version 1.2 adds the years 2019-2021.<br>Version 1.3 adds files labeled 1850soc, with fixed year-1850 values.<br>Version 1.4 adds files for the dry and wet component of the reduced and oxidized nitrogen deposition.",
