Abstract:

This dataset contains ISIMIP3a (Frieler et al. 2024) simulation data from 9 fire models: CLASSIC (Metlon et al. 2020), ELM-ECA (Zhu et al. 2019, https://e3sm.org), JULES-INFERNO-VN6P3 (Mangeon et al. 2016, Burton et al. 2019), LPJ-GUESS-SIMFIRE-BLAZE, LPJ-GUESS-SPITFIRE, LPJmL5-7-10-fire (Wirth et al. 2024, Oberhagemann et al. 2024), MC2-USFS-r87g5c1 (https://github.com/pacificnorthwestresearchstation/mc2), ORCHIDEE-MICT, SSiB4-TRIFFID-Fire (Huang et al. 2020, Huang et al. 2021), and VISIT (Ito et al. 2019).

The outputs are based on simulations according to the ISIMIP3a protocol (https://protocol.isimip.org). A more detailed description of the models are available on https://www.isimip.org.

Version 1.1 of this dataset adds the LPJmL5-7-10-fire model as well as additional links for ELM-ECA.
