Abstract:

This data set provides annual land transformation to be used as input data for ISIMIP3b (www.isimip.org). The data here originates from the historic LUH2 data set (Hurtt et al, 2020, see also https://luh.umd.edu), which in turn is based on HYDE 3.2 (Klein-Goldewijk, 2016). The data was interpolated to the ISIMIP 0.5° grid using first-order conservative remapping. The data set consists of 115 land transformation categories, one for each transition from one type of land use to another.

Version 1.1 of this dataset resolves an issue with wrong wood harvesting and land-transformation data (#64).
