Abstract:

This data set provides future annual land transformation to be used as input data for ISIMIP3b Group III simulations (Frieler et al., in prep, www.isimip.org) The data for the Group I and II simulations are available from Vega del Valle et al. (2025).

The data are based on the MAgPIE and IMAGE land-use allocation models and harmonized with the LUH2 v2.1f Harmonization Data Set for the transition from historical data (see Hurtt et al. 2011; Hurtt et al. 2020; https://luh.umd.edu).

For the "noadapt" experiments, the data are still based on varying direct human forcings in the future period according to the SSP scenario, but do not take into account the impacts of climate change under a specific RCP.
